The Night Of

I like this title sequence because its very mysterious looking. No colour is used apart from just shadows and lighting which gives the clip a sinister feeling along with the types of shots used, such as depth of field and overhead shots. It doesn't give much away about the plot apart from that it is based in a busy city. Its very simple yet effective with the music added to give it that eerie feeling. Due to the way it looks, the music and the mise-en-scene, my first instinct would be to say its in the genre of horror.

Marco Polo

This in my opinion is a very elegant title sequence. I like how the flow of paint then creates a picture which gives you an insight to what the film may be about. While watching it, I find it very relaxing and feel as if that's all you focus on while watching this clip. I also like how the colours used are very neutral which adds to the effect of being minimalistic yet impressive.

Nerve

This is a very upbeat title sequence compared to the last two. I like how they have incorporated aspects of social media that most of us use everyday such as emojis and soundcloud. I like the way they have a persons position in the making of the film, correspond to the back ground. You can tell straight away from this clip that it is a modern film aimed at young viewers who will understand the brands, logos and pictures that are used.
