Broadchurch series 2 The eight-episode series focuses on the sexual assault of a local middle-aged woman in the fictional, close-knit coastal town of Broadchurch in Dorset, England. The series continues to focus on the effect of Joe Miller's trial and Danny Latimer's murder on the families and community who we saw in the previous series.
Since only watching one episode of the first series, I decided to give the second one a go...and I was instantly hooked. I love the way they make you point the finger at someone but then make you rethink your decision and turn your attention to another character. Its fast paced and constantly giving you evidence to piece your own theory together about what happened to Trish Winterman, the victim of sexual assault. Its emotional yet haunting to watch at the same time as we relive the horrific event with Trish to help solve the mystery of who committed the crime.
